I am so behind on this post that the next meet is almost here again! Here are some of my favorites from the meet on Saturday. It was Pitt’s first regular season meet of the year against Kent State and WVU. WVU came out on top this time.

Wow. I was having so many blog problems for the last two weeks. I never thought I would feel so bummed out about my blog going down. The good news is it’s back! The bad news is I am behind on some posting. So look for some new updates in the next few days.

Hmmm. What else? I put an order in to Dream Album today that I am really excited about, I will be on the floor taking photos at the Pitt meet on Saturday, and I have been having a ton of fun playing with my new Fuji Instax Mini 7S camera. Check it out. Some more awesome instant photos here. Plus, for my birthday I was so generously given two old cameras…an Imperial Satellite 127 and a Spartus. I have my fingers crossed that I can get one of them to work!

I am looking forward to rocking out some good stuff with my ::ahem:: three day weekend…yahoo!

Blue vs. Gold

Pitt Gymnastics – Blue vs. Gold…no scores were posted, so we don’t know who won! This is more of a picture post anyway, so I’ll keep it short and sweet. The freshman looked ready to contribute to the lineup, Alicia Talucci looks even better than she did last year (and I am really liking this year’s floor routine), Jessica Byich upgraded her bar dismount to a double layout (it’s good!), and every class wore a different leotard to compete in.

It’s underway!

And they’re off! Meet season has started! I spent a lot of this weekend browsing the internet for information on all of the meets that are going on. The beginning of a meet season is so exciting. Getting to see all of the improvements everyone has made, new routines, new skills, and of course….new leos!

Saturday I spent a few hours watching the Level 9 and 10 session at the Steel City Invitational hosted by Pittsburgh Northstars. They have a brand new gym and hosted a new meet in it for the first time. It’s good for photographers, the light was great! (As far as gyms go). I got to catch up with a few great coaches I know and get back in the groove of shooting gymnastics.

College teams are gearing up for the start of their season as well. I am looking forward to Pitt’s Blue Gold Intrasquad on Friday. And if you are a gymnastics fan you will want to check out the videos from #1 ranked Georgia’s Sneak Peak intrasquad.
